Amnesty International is an organisation focused on human rights, they aim to improve and protect the lives of women, men and children. It is the largest grassroot human rights organisation in the world. Amnesty International is working in the UK to ensure a fair and effective asylum seeker system and migrants and refugees are treated with dignity and respect. Their work includes research, developing proposals to the government, advocating and intervening in important court cases to ensure the best evidence based on human rights conditions are being used. While also being a national organisation, local groups are at the centre of Amnesty International UK.
