This website has been developed by a partnership between Brighton Exiled Refugee Trauma Service (BERTS), Robin Hood Health Foundation (RHHF) and the project lead, Trust for Developing Communities (TDC).
Berts provides trauma psychological treatment and befriending for newcomers and expertise in clinical and psycho-social pathways for refugees and migrants.
RHHF provides specialist social prescribing support to refugees and migrants.
TDC is a charity tackling inequality in Brighton & Hove, working with communities facing poverty and exclusion, bringing people together to take action and deliver community-led solutions.
With thanks to all the refugees and migrants who have shared their experiences and worked with us to develop this resource.
The project has been funded through UOK – a partnership of 19 community services working together to support good mental health and wellbeing in Brighton, Hove and East Sussex. UOK’s mission is to help people find and receive the support they need at the right time, and to promote good mental wellbeing for all. UOK is the connection to local mental health and wellbeing support.
